CategoryAttachment Styles and How They Affect Adult Relationships
Our early experiences shape how we form attachments and relate to others throughout our lives. Attachment styles, developed in infancy and..
Love will never steer you wrong
I often hear with some peoples relationships and have heard with my own “you should break up”. Your partner did something so bad or somethings happened and now your thinking its over.
It Isn’t Fair to Expect Perfection
We live in a world of imperfection, and certainly there are no perfect people. And one of the surest ways to break up a home, to break up a marriage, to break up a friendship, a business, or any relationship in life, is to overemphasize faultfinding.
Love Is…
Love is written, talked about, in multitudinous ways. Taking center stage are God’s love and man’s love. Often depicted as being bestowed upon some, and held back from others. Requiring certain ceremonial acts, and/or having hidden conditions connected to that attainment.
Noah
Three days ago my heart prompted me to post this message; “YEARS AGO WHEN MY DOG WAS YOUNG, I trained him to do things like fetch the ball, roll over, or shake hands. He wasn’t good at all of these, but one thing he is good at is waiting for me. He faithfully waits for me to come to my office and he walks with me wherever I go. That makes him so dear to my heart. Maybe he does not do much, but he is always there for me, present and waiting. I remember the feeling of a little boy waiting for Papa to come home from work. As soon as he arrives, nothing else mattered anymore. What mattered was that he is home. Let us not become so absorbed for material things and neglect those people waiting for our love, care, and attention.”
What is Love?
WHAT IS LOVE? The first element of love is RESPECT. The second is TRUST, and the third is GRATITUDE.
Are you bored & lonely?
If man is totally ignorant of anything, it is that he is selfish. Human selfishness has no bounds. It is there in every one of us constantly expressing in subtle and not so subtle ways. Of course there are truly affectionate individuals that are utterly selfless. In such men and woman never mention what they own, or how useful they are to others.
Realities and Possibilities
“Life is often about facing reality without disregarding divine possibilities.” For all of us life is not always as you would like it to be. Life occasionally might well include problems, hard, or even hurtful circumstances. There are times when what you need is more than you have. Everyday life is not a movie, where if you “wish upon a star” all your dreams come true. Life is often about facing reality without disregarding divine possibilities.
Quality time
“A lonely day is God’s way of saying that he wants to spend some quality time with you.” ― Criss Jami
Relationship = +/-
While the word “relationship” is typically defined as the fixed association between people, a more interesting discussion takes place when we view a “relationship” as a profound and advanced set of association and consider the movement and fluidity the new identity reveals.
Father’s Day
Tomorrow is Father’s Day. It is a celebration honouring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, paternal bonds, and the influence of fathers in society. In general, a father wants unity and peace in his family. What father indeed would want discord and disagreement among his children? In the same way, our Heavenly Father, source of all unity and peace wants us all to live in harmony, cooperation and solidarity.
Be True
“Let there be spaces in your togetherness, and let the winds of the heavens dance between you.” – Kahlil Gibran
Connected, dis-con, no range, no load or low batt?
During the past two decades, modern technology has evolved into more than most ever imagined it could. Technology has become so important in our daily lives that most people would find it difficult to go through the day without using some form or another. Majority of people are always looking for the newest piece of technology that will help make their lives easier. Computers and cell phones have made such an impact in our daily lives that most would find themselves lost without them.
A Blessing or a Curse?
I have been wanting to write about this topic for a long time as it is something that affects each and every one of us. And, it is something that becomes more obvious the older I get.
“I will not Die but Live”…
It is Easter again. This is the most important days for us Christians. In fact, it is more important than Christmas because if Christ did not suffer, die and rise again, then there would have been no salvation. For us Christians, death is not the graduation but a commencement. Just the thought that death is not a closure but an opening is a tremendous source of hope.
